Farm by Mail is an ode to the family-owned farms of Minnesota. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) allows city dwellers to access fresh, local produce on a subscription basis while supporting local farmers. The recipes were sourced and edited from an outdated cookbook that had great content but lacked in appearance. Instead of photography, the minimalist illustrations created for this project emphasize the understated beauty of the Midwest. The design is playful but not childish, balancing the formal qualities of book design with attractive visuals.
